Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Senior Decision Analyst in Atlanta to translate complex data into actionable insights that influence budgeting, priorities, and strategic actions. You will collaborate with Merchandising, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Online and IT to design analytics tools and reporting capabilities, ensuring data quality and effective communication of findings.

Ideal candidates have strong skills in SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and BigQuery, with a track record of delivering

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Master's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in data mining, statistical analysis, auditing, and/or forecasting.
Ability to translate analyses into actionable business insights and presentations.

Responsibilities

Data Analytics: analyze large data volumes and create dashboards/reports using tools like BigQuery, SQL, SAS, R, Python, Jupyter Notebook, Adobe Analytics, and Tableau.
Management of Data: collaborate to explore data sources, cleanse and test data.
Project Management & Support: assist end users, troubleshoot issues.
Solution Development: work with stakeholders to deliver high-quality analytics solutions.
Technical Exploration & Development: grow technical competencies and adapt systems/procedures.
