Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an Associate Data Scientist in Atlanta to support data science initiatives that boost profitability, efficiency, and customer experience. You will collaborate with Data Scientists to design models, analyze large datasets, and translate insights into business actions.

Preferred candidates hold a Master’s in a quantitative field or equivalent, with 3+ years in BI/analytics and strong Python/SQL skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in business intelligence and analytics.
• Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in Python and SQL with data querying.
• Experience in predictive modeling, data mining and data analysis.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques to extract insights.
• Exposure to prescriptive modeling such as optimization, CV, recommendation, search or NLP.
