Job summary

Accurus Aerospace Corporation seeks a Lead Deburr Technician to grind, refine, polish, and deburr metal or synthetic parts. The role includes training new employees, mentoring, and performing inspections, with responsibility for administrative tasks as directed by the Supervisor.

The candidate must meet ITAR compliance for U.S. Person status, have a HS Diploma or GED, and at least 2 years of experience in a hands-on manufacturing setting, using tools such as height gauges and drills.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lead, coach, train, and manage a team of employees.
• Willingness and ability to help others.
• Vocational training in a hands-on manufacturing career or similar field is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience is required.
• Experience with tools such as height gauges, drills, and other hand tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Trains new employees and mentors skill development during the introductory period.
• Communicates professionally and appropriately to convey information and instructions.
• Operates carbide burr tools to remove excess material from parts without causing damage.
• Selects finish type per work instruction and inspects finish quality.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follows supervisor instructions and safety guidelines; identifies hazards and addresses them.
