Job summary

Cypress HCM in Lehi, UT is seeking a Deal Desk Analyst 3 to help structure profitable and compliant transactions for North America Digital Marketing Sales.

You will act in a fiduciary capacity handling first-line approvals, deal structuring, and accelerating closures, while coordinating with Legal, Sales Operations, and Finance. The contract runs from 09/07/2026 to 09/06/2027 with hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Proven FP&A, Sales Finance, Sales Operations or Deal Desk experience.
• Experience drafting and analyzing binding sales agreements and structuring multi-element contracts including subscriptions, licenses, services and support.
• Proficient in software revenue recognition accounting and related guidance.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated capability to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day deal approval process, including deal structuring and accelerating deal closures.
• Meet with sales teams to identify customer business issues and structure transactions that meet requirements and customer needs.
• Draft and certify customer contracts and communicate via documented business cases with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to internal revenue recognition policies, SOP 97-2 where applicable, and operational guidelines.
• Interact with Legal, Sales Operations, Sales Finance, Revenue Assurance, Business Units, Order Management, Credit and other functions to resolve deal issues.
• Prepare in-quarter deal status reports and communications to management.
• Evaluate current processes and recommend areas for improvement.
• Perform to specified metrics and service levels and ensure compliance with policy and procedures.
