Job summary

ABB Energy Industries seeks a technical lead for Process Automation projects across Renewable, Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Power sectors, US and global. You will ensure successful Distributed Control System delivery on time, within budget, and to specifications with safety guidelines.

The position is hybrid, based in the Greater Houston Area, and relates to the Automation Energy Industries Division in the US.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in engineering with ABB Distributed Control Systems.
• Strong knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools.
• Commitment to safety practices and guidelines.
• Fluency in reading/writing/speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver solutions with customers on medium complex projects.
• Execute DCS deliverables on time, within specs, safely.
• Resolve technical issues remotely and on-site in US and abroad.
• Support project managers with costs, specs and deliverables for proposals.
• Create and deliver work plans, budgets and risk assessments.
• Design, test and commission automation enclosures and control logic.
