Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 5+ years of distribution center experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in a distribution warehouse.
• Experience managing receiving, shipping, and material handling functions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and achieve objectives.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment.
• Experience with quality systems, safety, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Managing and coordinating receiving, storage, and distribution of products and parts.
• Establishing lean procedures to maximize on-time deliveries and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinating DC activities with manufacturing and field distribution centers.
• Facilitating logistics activities to meet customer requirements and timelines.
• Making operational decisions to maximize trailer utilization and reduce costs.
• Assigning duties related to shipments, inventory movement, and handling.
• Leading productivity, quality, safety, and efficiency initiatives.
• Monitoring metrics and taking corrective actions to drive performance.
• Managing department budgets and resources to meet objectives while controlling costs.
• Ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and safety requirements.
• Leading and coaching distribution center employees across shifts.
