Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Staff Commissioning Engineer to lead commissioning activities for data center projects, owning the full lifecycle from factory witness testing to turnover. You will coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure the electrical and EPMS systems meet design intent and operational readiness standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data center commissioning, construction, or critical infrastructure delivery.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; CxA certification is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of commissioning levels L1–L5 and related documents and testing.
• Hands-on experience with data center power and EPMS infrastructure.
• Experience managing third-party commissioning agents and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site electrical subject matter expert for commissioning activities across projects.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, and O&M documentation for alignment with design and specs.
• Oversee third-party CxA activities, including scope, performance, and testing coordination.
• Coordinate with procurement for factory testing and vendor scheduling.
• Review test procedures and approve FWT for off-site manufactured equipment.
• Oversee documentation including Cx Plan, test scripts, and turnover packages.
• Drive issue resolution and ensure alignment with plans and standards.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across construction, engineering, controls, and operations.
