Job summary

EEI is seeking a Sr. Electrical Specialist to lead commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation for electrical systems in data centers and mission-critical facilities.

The role involves guiding field execution, performance testing, issue resolution, and mentoring junior staff in a hybrid field-office setting. Applicants should have 6+ years of relevant experience, strong power systems knowledge, and the ability to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in electrical systems and commissioning.
• Advanced knowledge of power distribution, switchgear, UPS, generators, PDUs.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, sequences of operation, documentation, trend data.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex commissioning, testing, and verification activities for electrical systems.
• Guide field execution, functional performance testing, startup support, and closeout activities.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical system issues and drive practical resolution with project teams, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Review drawings, specifications, trend data, test results, and system information to evaluate readiness and performance.
• Communicate commissioning status, risks, findings, and recommendations clearly with clients, contractors, and internal project teams.
• Mentor Electrical Specialists and Electrical Support team members through field coaching and documentation review.
• Contribute to safe, reliable, and high-quality project delivery in fast-paced mission-critical environments.
