Job summary

Interclypse, Inc. is seeking a senior DBMS specialist to join the Maryland onsite team. You will evaluate DBMS products, design data structures, and implement robust backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and security across processing environments.

The role requires extensive experience with DBMS technologies, including DBMS internals, and a strong background in SQL and database programming. This position is onsite at multiple Maryland locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a technical discipline (CS/IS/Engineering/related).
• Six (6) years of experience in DBMS systems analysis and programming.
• Three (3) years of experience using current DBMS technologies and DBMS internals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and recommend DBMS products to support validated requirements.
• Define file organization, indexing, and security procedures for user applications.
• Develop, implement, and maintain database backup and recovery procedures.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and recoverability in DBMS applications.
