Job summary

Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to manage Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL across development, UAT, and production environments. You will ensure high availability, security, backups, and performance while driving automation with PowerShell.

The role prefers experience with GCP and IaC tools like Terraform, and involves collaboration with multiple teams in a hybrid office setting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Microsoft SQL Server DBA and PostgreSQL experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience with SQL Server 2016/2019/2022; strong T-SQL and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments in Development, UAT, and Production.
• Ensure database availability, security, performance, backups, and recovery readiness.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate DBA tasks and health checks.
• Support and maintain data replication channels (Fivetran HVR) and cloud integrations with GCP.
