You will implement backup/recovery strategies and ensure security and compliance while collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to optimize schemas and deployments. 6+ years of DBA experience required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DBA experience with Postgres, MongoDB, and Neo4j.
• Strong expertise in query optimization and performance tuning.
• Hands-on with replication, sharding, clustering, partitioning, and high-availability setups.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain Postgres, MongoDB, and Neo4j databases in production and non-production environments.
• Perform query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning for high-volume workloads.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents such as slow queries, deadlocks, and replication lags.
• Implement and manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Ensure database security, access control, and compliance with standards.
• Conduct capacity planning, performance benchmarking, and storage management.
• Automate DBA tasks using Shell/Python and implement monitoring solutions.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams for schema optimization and deployment.
• Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems as needed.
