Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on experience administering IBM DB2 databases in large enterprise environments.
Advanced expertise with DB2 for z/OS: REORG, RUNSTATS, COPY, RECOVER, LOAD, UNLOAD.
Experience executing database migration projects from mainframe to distributed or cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end database migration and modernization initiatives involving DB2 for z/OS to DB2 LUW.
Create migration plans, risk assessments, rollback procedures, and implementation roadmaps.
Collaborate with application development and infrastructure teams throughout modernization efforts.
