Job summary

Radiant Digital is seeking a senior Database Administrator with extensive DB2 for z/OS, Oracle and SQL Server expertise. The role focuses on daily operational tasks, performance tuning, and documentation across DB platforms.

You will conduct SQL reviews, develop procedures, mentor junior staff, and coordinate disaster recovery planning within a complex z/OS environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years combined experience in DBA for SQL Server 2008R2/2012 and Oracle 10g+.
• Responsible for DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, GIS planning and operational activities.
• Able to apply knowledge across DB2 for z/OS, Oracle and MSSQL administration.
• Advanced knowledge of z/OS, JCL, ISPF, RACF, CICS, COBOL and monitoring tools.
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and infrastructure coordination.

Job description

The candidate must have skill and 12 years combined experience in database administration for the following database platforms:

• SQL Server 2008R2, 2012
• Oracle 10g and above

This resource will primarily be tasked with performing Database (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, GIS) planning and operational activities including, but not limited to the following:

• Daily operational and database administration activities
• Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning
• Develop and maintain database administration procedures and documentation
• Perform SQL Code reviews
• Assist with training/mentoring other technical staff This resource may also be required to perform other database or infrastructure activities as requested
