Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support a large analytic cloud repository environment in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will augment an existing dataflow team responsible for Data Flow Management and mission-critical data distribution efforts supporting enterprise-level operations.

The role requires 17+ years of SE experience, a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, and hands-on leadership in dataflow engineering, security, and governance within a high-ingest environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in system engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Seventeen (17) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.
• Demonstrated experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
• Willingness to participate in on-call support rotations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support a large analytic cloud repository environment and data distribution efforts.
• Manage, optimize, troubleshoot, and modernize complex data flows in a high-ingest analytic environment.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to enable enterprise-wide dataflow capabilities.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide SE leadership on critical missions.
