Job summary
Peraton is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support a large analytic cloud repository in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role focuses on data flow management, optimization, troubleshooting, and modernization of complex data flows within a high-ingest environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in dataflow engineering and with Apache NiFi, collaborating with engineering and operations teams to deliver enterprise-level data distribution capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in systems or related field; five years may substitute for a degree.
- Seventeen years of SE experience in programs of similar scope and complexity.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph.
- Demonstrated experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
- Willingness to participate in on-call support rotations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage, optimize, troubleshoot, and modernize complex data flows in a high-ingest analytics environment.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve dataflow performance.
- Work with NiFi or similar dataflow technologies to support enterprise-wide data delivery.
- Support data management and analytics platforms enabling developer and operator productivity.
