NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Senior Datacenter Systems Modeling Engineer in Santa Clara, CA to lead end-to-end data-center power architecture programs. You’ll own rack-level architecture, power modeling, and simulations for advanced power schemes, coordinating with power architects, validation, firmware, mechanical teams, and suppliers.

The role requires a Master’s degree, 10+ years of experience, and proficiency with SIMPLIS, SPICE, PLECS, and related tools.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience with simulation and modeling tools such as SIMPLIS, PowerSI/DC, SPICE, PLECS, Q3D.
• Ability to drive technical programs from concept to production via modeling and simulation.
• Experience with PSU/PSC or other power vendors.
• Strong technical communication and documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end execution for data-center power architecture programs, including Power Shelf, BBU/CBU, busbars, and other rack-level power components.
• Drive end-to-end modeling and simulation to guide and optimize the design; drive fast and effective failure analysis with solid root cause and correlation actions.
• Own technical risk management, validation strategy, and cross-functional alignment across architecture, validation, mechanical, compliance, firmware, and suppliers.
• Translate power-architecture requirements into clear milestones, identifying engineering trade-offs across efficiency, reliability, thermal limits, and manufacturability.
• Manage PSU and rack-power vendors, support bring-up, close failure analysis cycles, and clearly communicate program status, risks, and escalations to leadership.
