Job summary

Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) is seeking a Mission Critical Senior Estimator to develop and validate cost estimates for complex electrical projects, including datacenters. You will guide estimating methodologies, risk assessment, and bid development while mentoring the estimating team and aligning with company goals.

You will lead bid strategy discussions, collaborate with project management and engineering, and ensure compliance with standards and confidentiality throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field; extensive estimating experience in construction.
• Proven ability to lead large, complex estimating efforts from evaluation to cost development.
• Experience with mission critical or datacenter projects is highly preferred.
• Field experience and ability to mentor estimating staff are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating, bid strategy, and risk assessment for complex electrical projects.
• Review plans, specs, contracts, and bid documents to define scope and requirements.
• Coach and develop estimators; manage proposal deliverables and schedules.
• Collaborate with leadership, project teams, and clients to pursue opportunities.
