Job summary

DXC-Luxoft is seeking an experienced automotive software engineer to lead Databricks-based data platforms for next-generation vehicle programs. You will architect end-to-end Azure Databricks solutions, including ingestion, governance, transformation, and delivery of data products for BI dashboards and AI workflows.

You will work with a multinational team, define standards, and provide cost guidance while communicating with stakeholders and customers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of the Azure Databricks platform and Lakehouse architectures.
• Experience designing and implementing medallion architecture as an enterprise standard.
• Proficiency in Databricks SQL and Python with strong documentation habits.
• Ability to compare Databricks with alternative solutions and justify choices.
• Experience setting up a Databricks environment in Azure and documenting it clearly.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving for customer needs.
• Experience delivering AI/ML or LLM-based solutions on Azure Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture guidance and technical leadership across customer projects.
• Develop and implement Databricks-based solutions addressing project needs.
• Own end-to-end Databricks solution architecture including ingestion, governance, and reporting.
• Establish engineering standards: medallion architecture, CI/CD, IaC, testing and observability.
• Document architecture with ADRs and run design/code reviews.
• Collaborate with data science/AI teams on AI-powered workflows and agents.
