Job summary

COUNTRY Financial is seeking a Database Reliability Engineer to ensure the availability and reliability of enterprise database platforms. You’ll collaborate with infrastructure engineers to deploy database solutions and enable automation and self-service for business users.

The role focuses on high availability, performance optimization, and security across Azure-based database services, with a hybrid or flexible work schedule in Bloomington, IL.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in database IT or related fields.
• Automation of administration, monitoring, and operations using scripting languages.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native DB solutions.
• Design and support of HA, DR, backup, and resiliency in Azure.
• Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD using modern tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and support COUNTRY IT solutions.
• Ensure security, availability, capacity, resiliency, and performance.
• Propose technology solutions aligned with business needs.
• Create and maintain architecture artifacts and documentation.
• Partner with IT teams to develop multi-year strategy.
