Qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience favored
- Experience with distributed messaging and database technologies
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Ability to support mission-critical applications with scalability and reliability
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in large-scale environments
- Experience designing and integrating API solutions
Responsibilities
- Design and support distributed messaging solutions using Apache Kafka
- Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL in large-scale production environments
- Develop and integrate API solutions using Apigee or similar platforms
- Implement monitoring and observability with Splunk/Grafana
- Contribute to event-driven, data-intensive applications
- Ensure security, resiliency, backup, and disaster recovery for data platforms
