Job summary

Morgan Stanley's Technology division seeks a Software Engineer at Director level to design and maintain data-intensive solutions for the FICFX team. You will collaborate with product leads, work across SAP ASE, SAP IQ, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL, and focus on scalable schemas, performance, and reliability.

You will build automation using Python, Perl, and Shell, support real-time and batch data pipelines, ETL, and replication, and contribute to monitoring and operational tooling.

Responsibilities

• Designing and optimizing schemas, queries, and database structures
• Performing deep performance analysis and root cause troubleshooting
• Building and maintaining automation using Python, Perl, and Shell
• Supporting real-time and batch data pipelines, ETL, and replication
• Enhancing monitoring, data capture, and operational tooling
