Responsibilities

• Administer RDBMS databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Vertica, PostgreSQL), manage storage on-premise and on Google Cloud Platform, perform backup and recovery, tune and monitor databases, and automate tasks using shell and Python scripts.
• Design database architecture (tables, views, etc.) and develop business logic with SQL.
• Follow software development standards, document requirements, and implement best practices in coding and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including leadership, engineers, program managers, and data scientists to understand and meet business needs.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
