Minimum qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Vision, or in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2. 5 years of experience developing or managing data systems, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
3. Experience in database development including ETL tools and SQL programming.

Preferred qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2. Experience in manufacturing testing.
3. Experience in SQLAlchemy or PostgreSQL.
4. Experience scripting in Python.

The Raxium team's mission is to develop and manufacture efficient, ultra-dense and ultra-resourceful monolithic RGB microLED displays for AR applications. The test team develops new test systems to support the next-generation AR display panels. We are an extremely collaborative group who interact daily with the entire Raxium display organization, sharing data to support continuing development efforts and ensure outgoing display quality. We are always looking for new approaches to improve data access and increase test throughput.

Google's Raxium display group has established a revolutionary semiconductor materials display technology that enables new functionality in display products, bringing to users a closer and more natural linkage between the digital and physical realms in applications such as augmented reality (AR) and light-field display. With start-up roots and a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab in Silicon Valley, Raxium is seeking to build upon its engineering team with an aim to disrupt next-generation display markets.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities:

1. Support and improve existing data flow including: test data architecture (Python, SQL Server and PostgreSQL, JMP).
2. Ensure that data platforms and architecture meet the needs of fast moving production and Research and Development environments.
3. Collaborate with numerous cross-functional teams to address data needs.
4. Work with Test Engineering and Reliability teams to enhance test data frameworks.
5. Create secure, structured data paths for interactions with customers and partners while maintaining IP security.
