Job summary

Maximus seeks an experienced Database Engineer to join their team. The role involves analytical support for process improvement and the development of requirements documents, functional models, and procedures for relational and cloud-based databases.

Responsibilities include analytical work, planning, and creating functional architectures, with extensive emphasis on PostgreSQL and Enterprise DB. A security clearance and decade+ experience are expected for this senior role.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance or above.
• At least 10 years of overall experience in the functional area.
• Bachelor degree in related field required.
• Ten (10) years combined experience in relational and cloud-based databases: Database development and software engineering/development, Database Design and Data Modeling, Requirements analysis/generation, Developing systems and software architectures.
• Must have 5 years' experience working with Enterprise DB.
• 7 years of experience with PostgreSQL.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining automated installation scripts.
• Demonstrated experience developing database solutions in a multi-tiered environment.

• Responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements
