Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an experienced database/analytics professional to join the Defense & Security AI & Data team in the DC metro area. You will lead enterprise database initiatives, spanning data engineering, querying, ETL, and BI to enable data-driven decision making for national security clients.

The role requires 8+ years of database experience, strong SQL skills, and the ability to operate in on-site and hybrid environments, with eligibility for a Federal/Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS "PUBLIC TRUST".
• Bachelor’s degree.
• EIGHT (8) or more years developing large, highly complex, enterprise database systems.
• Experience using SQL for data querying and ETL functions, with understanding of data engineering concepts.
• Ability to support on-site and hybrid projects in the DC metro area.
• Familiarity with Federal cybersecurity frameworks: NIST SP 800-53, NIST RMF, FedRAMP.

Responsibilities

• Provide database engineering and database administration services to National Security clients.
• Support data analytics and data science activities from data wrangling to BI and ML.
• Work with clients to maximize data value and automate business processes.
• Collaborate on on-site and hybrid projects in the DC metro area.
