Job summary

LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) invites experienced Senior Database Engineer to join the DataScope Database Administration team. You will manage 400+ databases across Sybase ASE, SQL Server, Oracle and cloud environments, delivering reliable, scalable data services.

You will partner with development, QA, infrastructure and cloud teams to modernization, automation and continuous improvement while ensuring data integrity and operational excellence in a global, diverse workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience administering enterprise database environments.
• Experience with Sybase ASE, Azure/AWS SQL, Linux platforms.
• Strong SQL tuning, automation scripting and RCA skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver database changes and manage deployments with stability.
• Design and develop automation and monitoring for databases.
• Collaborate with QA, infra, and product teams to grow cloud adoption.
