Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of experience in database solutions, schemas, maintenance, performance optimization, and security.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret Security Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in developing, testing, and implementing database solutions.
• 4–6 years of experience designing and implementing database schemas.
• 4–6 years of experience managing and maintaining databases.
• 4–6 years of experience documenting database designs, configurations, and procedures.
• 4–6 years of experience monitoring performance, optimizing queries and indexes, and managing security permissions and access controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform SQL and PL/SQL development, including backend reports to support user needs.
• Develop custom scripts to automate database management processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database performance.
• Develop, optimize, and tune stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and queries in support of application development.
• Interface with customers, users, and developers as needed.
• Maintain the database schema and database design, and support transition and development activities.
• Provide SME on ingesting data into the database from sources such as file systems.
