Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience
• Experience in Linux environments
• Experience administering SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB)
• US Citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Provide expert DBA services for production, stage, and development databases across all platforms.
• Work with senior developers and data modelers to perform physical database design for critical business applications/databases with the largest numbers of interfaces and users
• Support automated and ad-hoc report generation as well as existing ETL processes and data pipelines across enterprise platforms
• Use expert communication and collaboration skills to provide domain and technical expertise, and offer technical mentorship and cross-training to peers and team members
• Work involves analyzing the user experience of a variety of Agency IT programs and recommending design changes that can enhance the user experience and query performance.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards
