Qualifications

• Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree with eight years of related experience.
• Experience supporting Oracle EBS
• Oracle and/or Microsoft DBA Certification preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of Linux
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Manage disk space for data growth and indexes.
• Backup/recovery, performance tuning, security, and patching for Oracle DB.
• Administer Oracle EBS: patching, cloning, maintenance.
• Backup/recovery and maintenance for SQL Server.
• Install/configure patches and upgrades for Linux.
• Monitor database resource utilization.
• Perform database backups and monitor them.
• Implement redundant/distributed data strategies.
• Assist in testing DR/BC processes.
• Restore databases.
• Provide performance monitoring and tuning.
• Assist in application implementation and custom requests.
• Implement new applications as assigned.
• Maintain SQL Server databases.
• Develop and implement backup/recovery procedures.
• Routine database maintenance.
• Create stored procedures and objects inside the database.
• Install patches and tools for databases and apps.
• Perform other related duties as required.
