Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to own enterprise SQL environments across Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle, tackle complex performance and security challenges, and influence the design of scalable database solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
• 5-7 years’ experience administering SQL environments
• Strong understanding of SQL clustering, availability groups, and standalone architecture
• Ability to work with teams to identify, troubleshoot and remediate a variety of SQL problems including locking/blocking, indexing issues, and capacity review/turning
• Familiarity with Idera is a plus

What You’ll Do

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $145,000. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.
