Job summary

Sensient Technologies is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to advance efficiency in global logistics. You will consolidate data, develop standardized reports, and drive KPI-focused improvements across supply chain operations.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, forecasting accuracy, and collaboration with leadership to optimize carrier performance and shipment execution. Onsite, with a strong onboarding and development program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Computer Science, Information Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 1–3 years’ experience as a data analyst, preferably in Supply Chain or Logistics.
• Experience using SQL, Access, and Excel; Power BI and Cognos a plus.
• Knowledge of statistics and experience with statistical packages (Excel, Access, Tableau, etc.).
• Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
• Familiarity with Logility or similar forecasting tools and JDE.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate data into a centralized location and develop standardized reporting and metrics for global logistics KPIs.
• Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (warehouse-slotting, route planning, carrier performance, forecast and replenishment).
• Monitor carrier performance and develop scorecards to show impact on end-to-end shipment execution.
• Collect data on supply chain operations and drive root-cause analysis for corrective actions.
• Use data to identify issues and opportunities to optimize supply chain and reduce logistics spend.
• Assemble and assess commercial forecasts using market data, sales history, customer trends and promotions to improve accuracy.

We are seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to be a significant contributor to the overall improvement of Supply Chain and Logistics efficiency and effectiveness for Sensient. You will utilize your data analytical skills to drive strategy and operational performance in the various areas of supply chain and logistics operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Consolidate data into a centralized location. Mange the development of standardized reporting and metrics to measure global logistics KPI's.
• Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (e.g., warehouse-slotting, route planning, carrier performance, affiliate demand forecast and replenishment). Performing data quality analysis and managing follow-up resolution with service providers to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Partner with Supply Chain leadership to drive carrier performance through active monitoring, reporting & scorecard development. Understand the impact logistics planning has on end-to-end shipment execution (including how logistics planning impacts material releases).
• Collect data on supply chain operations & research root cause and driving corrective action to improve Supply Chain and Logistics performance and achieve business objectives.
• Use data to identify and highlight issues and opportunities to optimize supply chain, improve efficiency, and minimize logistic spend and costs.
• Assembling and assessing commercial forecasts based on market and competitive information, sales history, customer trends and product promotions to deliver improved forecast accuracy.

What You’ll Bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Computer Science, Information Management, or technical field (chemistry, math, etc.) or Business (MBA Preferred).
• Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience as a data analyst or business data analyst, preferably in Supply Chain or Logistics.
• Experience using SQL, Access, and Excel. Power BI and Cognos experience preferred.
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets. (Excel, Access, Tableau etc.).
• Adept with queries, report writing and presenting findings.
• Skilled in Logility or other related statistical forecasting package as well as JDE.
