Job summary

Tech Army, LLC is seeking a Data Warehouse Analyst / Power BI Developer for a 12-month engagement with the Florida Department of Transportation. The role focuses on designing semantic models, building dashboards, and optimizing Snowflake-integrated reporting solutions.

You will implement high-performance Power BI dashboards, develop DAX measures, and craft scalable analytics while collaborating with data engineers to optimize Snowflake data structures and governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience with BI tools.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on enterprise Power BI development.
• Advanced DAX and Power BI semantic modeling.
• Advanced SQL, including CTEs and window functions.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience, governance and RBAC.
• Experience integrating Power BI with Snowflake.
• Power BI Report Builder and paginated reports.
• Metadata management and data lineage.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI dataflows and semantic models.
• Build advanced DAX measures and analytics for enterprise reporting.
• Develop high-performance Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries using CTEs and window functions.
• Integrate Power BI with Snowflake and optimize reporting performance.
• Collaborate with data engineering to optimize fact and dimension tables.
• Troubleshoot performance across Power BI, DAX, SQL, and Snowflake.
• Maintain data lineage, metadata, and report documentation.
• Translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
