Moody’s is seeking a senior front-end developer specializing in data visualization to build award-worthy interactive experiences that blend storytelling with technology.

You will collaborate with analysts, editors, designers, and leadership to translate complex data into compelling digital experiences and scalable components, utilizing modern web technologies and AI-enhanced workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional front-end development experience with a portfolio of interactive data stories.
• Ability to translate design concepts into accessible, high-performing front-end experiences.
• Strong storytelling to communicate complex data with visuals and clear viewpoints.
• Collaborative with designers, editors, analysts, leadership to explain technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver interactive and static data visualizations communicating financial, economic, and risk insights.
• Partner with analysts, editors, designers, and stakeholders to identify storytelling opportunities.
• Build responsive, accessible front-end experiences from concept to production.
• Explore datasets to uncover insights for visual communication and engagement.
• Develop reusable visualization components, design systems, and standards.
• Evaluate emerging technologies including AI-enabled solutions to enhance storytelling and efficiency.
• Mentor and advise on best practices and continuous improvement.
