Job summary

Moloco is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Ads Applied Data team in the Seattle area. You will design and optimize distributed data systems that power Moloco’s advertising platform, enabling real-time and batch processing and low-latency data delivery across the ads ecosystem.

You will work with Product, ML, and Data Science to enable feature engineering, identity resolution, and advanced user signal enrichment across online and offline pipelines, mentoring peers along the way.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience designing large-scale distributed systems and backend services
• Hands-on with data processing frameworks (Beam/Dataflow/Spark) and orchestration (Airflow)
• Strong cloud familiarity (GCP/AWS/Azure) and data stores (BigQuery, Redis, Kafka, Pub/Sub)
• Proven cross-functional collaboration with Product, ML, Data Science

Responsibilities

• Design and build large-scale distributed systems for data ingestion, transformation, and serving
• Partner with ML and Serving teams for feature engineering workflows
• Contribute to Feature Infra / Feature Store for scalable data access
• Collaborate on Identity Graphs to unify user identifiers
• Improve observability, resilience, and low-latency performance
• Mentor engineers and promote data/backend best practices
