Insight Xcite is seeking a Systems Architect in Reston, VA to lead data collection, exploitation, and integration efforts. You will work with users and partners to define requirements, evaluate collection systems, and build data ingestion solutions for analytical use.

The role emphasizes developing ETL processes, data modeling, and documentation, with on-site work and potential for field travel to support national security missions.

Qualifications

• Experience collecting and exploiting data from domestic and foreign mobile applications.
• Experience analyzing data sources, targets, definitions, and relationships across structured and unstructured formats.
• Experience building ETL tools, databases, and software applications; data modeling, testing, documentation, versioning, and backups.
• Experience defining requirements with analytical or operational users and developing test requirements for data-management systems.
• Experience with image analysis, manipulation, and processing using Photoshop or similar tools.
• Experience handling and transferring sensitive data, troubleshooting data issues, preparing task plans and activity reports, and producing operational technical documentation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Work with users and technical partners to define requirements and improve data acquisition, sharing, processing, and exploitation.
• Assess datasets, prepare analytical reports, and integrate structured and unstructured data into existing platforms.
• Develop and test data ingestion, extraction, transformation, and loading solutions.
• Evaluate hardware and software, troubleshoot data issues, document operational processes, and coordinate technical reviews.
