Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a Data Strategy focus for a fully remote role in the United States. You will guide clients on data governance, architecture, and analytics roadmaps, translating complex data needs into actionable plans and KPIs.

Strong collaboration with virtual stakeholders is essential. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data-related roles, proficient SQL and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI), and a Bachelor's in a quantitative field; a Master's is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a BA/Data Analyst/ Data Strategist.
• Experience developing data governance frameworks and data strategies.
• Strong knowledge of database concepts, data warehousing, and data modeling.
• Familiar with BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment of client data needs and current landscape.
• Develop data strategies incl. governance, quality, architecture, analytics roadmaps.
• Define requirements for data integration and BI solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams remotely.
• Document data models, dictionaries, and data flows.
• Advise on data privacy, security, and compliance best practices.
• Develop KPIs and reports to measure data strategy outcomes.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to clients.
• Stay updated on trends in data analytics, big data and AI.
