Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Economics, Econometrics, Quantitative Finance, Statistics) preferred.
• 2+ years of work experience in research/forecasting or business analytics for a leading financial institution or similar, with strong economics background.
• Extremely focused, detail oriented, and able to synthesize large data sets and viewpoints.
• Excellent organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Proven track record of delivering on deadlines under pressure.
• Works well individually and in teams, shares information and encourages participation.

Responsibilities

• Manage macroeconomic and financial data.
• Periodically update existing data sets and review revisions for accuracy.
• Maintain documentation for data procedures.
• Support model development by working with model developers.
• Collaborate with vendors and forecasting partners across the company.
• Handle inbound questions, deliverables, and ad hoc requests with accuracy within timelines.
• Interact with downstream modelers and with Finance, Treasury, and Model Risk Management.
• Utilize strong interpersonal and negotiation skills in a high-priority environment.
• Programming skills in R or Python are preferred but not required.
