Job summary

Dell Technologies is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for Data Management in the East Region of the US. You will drive pre-sales technical support, define comprehensive Dell solutions, and lead engagements with major customer accounts to ensure successful deployments of data platforms and analytics capabilities.

You will partner with sales to analyze needs, craft architectures, and present impactful demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on in core cloud data platforms and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with data governance, unstructured data processing, and ETL/ELT.
• Strong SQL skills for analytics, modeling, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with vector databases and RAG architectures.
• Proficiency with Airflow, Spark, dbt, Kafka and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support to field sales teams and define Dell solutions.
• Build and lead relationships for highly sophisticated customer accounts.
• Conduct needs analysis and anticipate requirements beyond current scope.
• Prepare detailed product specifications and deliver impact presentations.
• Verify operability of complex configurations within the customer environment.
