Job summary

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) is hiring a Consultant, Data Solutions and Analytics in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions to support clinical, operational, and financial decision-making.

You will translate complex requirements into scalable datasets and high-performing data models, collaborating with BI teams, data engineers, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Statistics, Accounting, Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience writing and optimizing SQL, building datasets, implementing transformations, and validating data integrity across SQL Server and Oracle.
• 2+ years of experience using GitHub for version control and collaborative development workflows, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Experience documenting data models, business rules, and technical processes, including entity-relationship diagrams and data dictionaries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate data issues and validate results.

Responsibilities

• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries across SQL Server, Oracle, and Databricks environments.
• Develop and maintain database objects including tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, functions, Delta tables, and notebooks.
• Monitor data refreshes and validate data integrity across platforms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and deliver curated datasets, views, and data models optimized for analytics and self-service reporting.
