The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is seeking a seasoned Data/Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines transforming raw data into trusted insights across financial and economic domains. You will work in an Agile/DevOps environment and leverage AWS, Databricks, and modern data tools.

Candidates should have strong SQL, ETL, and data analytics skills, with experience in Tableau dashboards and cloud data warehouses.

Qualifications

Typically requires 6–15+ years of relevant experience.
Recent accomplishments in developing and analyzing complex SQL on relational databases.
Advanced data analytics experience for designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports.
Experience with AWS cloud deployments and processes.

Responsibilities

Collects, cleanses, analyzes, and validates data prior to storage; applies standard statistical models.
Configures, tests, and maintains data processes to meet governance requirements.
Ensures data integrity through QA practices and data anomaly resolution.
Performs audits and prepares reports on data activity and integrity.
Produces and updates guidelines for data handling and standards.
Identifies improvements in data collection processes and makes recommendations.
Works on ETL projects and collaborates with data warehouse teams.
Partner with customers to develop data-driven solutions meeting business goals.
Reviews requirements and implements solutions to meet them.
Participates in Agile rituals and CDP program processes.
