Job summary

Rockstar Games in New York City is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the Marketing Analytics team and help build the company’s marketing analytics and BI capacity. You will work with analytics and product leadership to identify, track, and analyze data to drive real-time and historical insights for our web environments across all games.

This full-time, in-office role is based at Rockstar’s NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
6+ years of experience in web data analysis.
3+ years with web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, HTTP).
3+ years querying databases with SQL and/or PySpark.
Experience creating visualizations with BI tools (Google Data Studio, Tableau).
Proficiency with Google Analytics 4 or equivalent.
Expertise with Google Tag Manager and tag management.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with website partners to define measurement specs.
Own relationships with stakeholders to translate needs into analysis.
Support Marketing Analytics to develop web and player insights at campaign level.
Standardize and maintain analytics tracking infrastructure.
Test and validate web analytics data; work with tech teams to fix issues.
Use web data with game data to deliver insights on user behavior.
Build reports and dashboards for key metrics; tell stories with data.
Monitor impact of new features and trends; involve partners in changes.
