Job summary

Roku is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the Core Analytics team supporting the Viewer Product. You will analyze data to improve the Home screen and discovery, influence UI decisions, and connect users with content.

Expect to develop dashboards, data pipelines, and analytical models to drive efficiency and strategic decisions. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in product analytics with proficiency in SQL/SAS/R/Python, and hands-on experience with visualization tools and AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

4+ years of professional experience in a quantitative field with a degree.
4+ years of experience in product analytics, preferably media/entertainment.
Proficiency in SQL, SAS, R, Python for querying data and analysis.

Responsibilities

Analyze structured and unstructured data and communicate insights to stakeholders.
Advise on product development strategy to drive Home screen and discovery.
Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to monitor metrics and health.
Build data pipelines to power automation, validation, and reporting.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align data science with organizational goals.
Design and run A/B tests to evaluate product changes and impact.
Perform exploratory data analysis on trends and Roku platform.
