Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Operations Research, Data Science, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of related experience as Data Scientist, Data Analytics Extern, Data Scientist Intern, or related occupation.
• Experience in hypothesis testing and statistical analysis.
• Experience with statistical modeling and machine learning techniques (including NLP, deep learning, network analysis).
• Experience with mathematical/optimization models (stochastic, Markov chain, robust).
• Proficiency in SQL and big data processing/analysis.
• Proficiency in Python or R and libraries (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn).
• Experience with version control and cloud platforms (Git, AWS SageMaker, S3).
• Creating data visualizations and intuitive management reporting (Tableau, Python or R visualization).

Responsibilities

• Formulate mathematical models to aid management decisions.
• Analyze Roku datasets to identify trends and inform strategy.
• Build data pipelines using SQL, Python, and Airflow.
• Create visualizations with Looker and Tableau to illustrate platform behavior.
• Collaborate with leadership, data engineers, and engines to address business needs.
• Find proxies where data is unavailable and automate dashboards for real-time insights.
• Support stakeholders with timely analytics and informed decisions.
• Up to one day per week telecommuting may be permitted.
