Pinterest is seeking a Data Scientist for the Core organization - Trust and Safety + Content Quality. You will shape risk insight and product quality through quantitative modeling, experiments, and scalable ML solutions.

Collaboration with product, engineering, design, and researchers will drive decisions for hundreds of millions of users and partners. Your work will evolve proactive, metrics-driven processes, prediciting risk and improving content safety, while reinforcing Pinterest’s inspiring

Qualifications

• 10+ years of data analysis experience in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
• Applying ML, forecasting, econometrics to web-scale data with rigor.
• Strong SQL proficiency and fluency in Python or R; clear communicator.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of the Pinterest trust and safety platform and quantify opportunities and risks.
• Lead projects across funnel stages in trust and safety.
• Design and productionize robust ML and evaluation frameworks for measurement and forecasting.
• Establish instrumentation and experimentation practices and share with engineers.
• Apply rigorous statistical methods to product creation and user behavior insights.
• Build scalable data pipelines and communicate insights to cross-functional teams.
