Ascend Learning, a leading healthcare and learning technology company, is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to advance test security analytics across our brands. You’ll build models and dashboards with Snowflake, SQL Server, and Tableau, partnering with security analysts and psychometricians to protect assessment integrity.

You’ll translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership, design ML pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote-friendly,

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field with strong data science foundations.
• Experience with remote proctoring platforms and psychometrics is a plus.
• Proven ability to build and deploy statistical models in production.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement statistical models, anomaly detection, and ML pipelines for test security.
• Develop predictive and classification models (logistic regression, random forests, NLP-based flagging).
• Create and publish Tableau dashboards for leadership and operational teams.
• Prepare analytical reports, including methodology documentation and evidence summaries.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into structured analytical specifications and data needs.
• Collaborate with Psychometricians, Data Engineering, IT security, and vendors on analytics requirements.
