Job summary

Bestow is seeking a Senior Data Scientist on the Data & Analytics team to build and productionize ML models and agentic data products. You will partner with product, actuarial, marketing, operations, and engineering to turn analysis into durable, self-serve capabilities across a regulated industry.

The role emphasizes Python/SQL, cloud data warehouses, and practical ML engineering, with a path to impact and adoption across stakeholders. Remote-friendly across the US.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data science with production ML experience.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for data engineering and modeling.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and agentic systems.
• Ability to ship end-to-end data products that stakeholders can use.

Responsibilities

• Build ML models from proof of concept through production deployment.
• Own the model lifecycle: feature engineering, validation, deployment, monitoring, drift detection, retraining.
• Collaborate with engineering to productionize models within existing pipelines.
• Develop internal analytics products including dashboards, self-serve reporting, and agentic interfaces.
• Build with LLMs responsibly, with evaluation, monitoring, and human oversight.
• Drive adoption by documenting and enabling business stakeholders to self-serve.
• Automate recurring analytic and modeling work into pipelines and monitoring systems.
• Write production-grade Python and SQL with version control, testing, and CI/CD.
• Raise data quality and establish AI-enabled analytics patterns across the team.
