Nexxen is seeking a senior data scientist to join our team in New York City with a hybrid schedule. You will own core optimization and bidding logic for our Demand-Side Platform, building ML models for bidding, pacing, KPI prediction and forecasting.

You will analyze large-scale data with Spark, SQL, and Python, work with legacy codebases, and collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions. Strong communication and self-direction are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data science or applied ML, ideally in a high-scale, real-time environment.
• Proficient with applied ML techniques (classification, regression, evaluation metrics), especially tree-based models like XGBoost.
• Strong programming in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Scala/Apache Spark for distributed data processing and ML at scale.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; self-directed and curious.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, evaluate and deploy ML models for bidding, pacing, KPI prediction and forecasting.
• Analyze large-scale data using Spark, SQL, and Python.
• Navigate and improve legacy production systems and codebases.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers and other data scientists to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Write clear, concise technical documentation and communicate insights to stakeholders.
