Conviva seeks a Senior Data Scientist with a strong ML and AI-native development background to advance real-time analytics initiatives. The role focuses on building scalable, intelligent systems and leveraging AI tools to accelerate prototyping and deployment.

The ideal candidate has a PhD or MS with significant applied ML experience, expert Python and familiarity with Scala, and a track record of shipping production ML solutions in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• PhD in CS or Statistics, or MS with 5+ years of applied ML experience.
• Strong foundation in traditional ML, deep learning, and statistical modeling.
• Proficiency in Python; familiarity with Scala or similar languages.
• Experience shipping production ML solutions from POC to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize ML models for real-time analytics at scale.
• Develop predictive modeling, anomaly detection, and automated alerts for time-series data.
• Explore classical and deep learning methods, adapting to problem needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to productionize models.
