Palo Alto Networks in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to advance the future of our business operations through classical ML and applied AI. You will build production-ready models for marketing attribution, churn, and finance forecasting, and contribute to AI agentic systems.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 1+ years of related experience, or PhD with 6+ months of experience.
• Strong foundation in statistics and probability theory.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
• Expert-level programming skills in Python and familiarity with ML libraries (scikit-learn, pandas, PyTorch/TensorFlow, XGBoost).
• Solid SQL for complex querying and data manipulation.
• Ability to work autonomously, navigate ambiguity, and drive projects from concept to completion.
• Experience developing dashboards in Tableau/Looker or similar data viz platform.

Responsabilidades

• Develop & Deploy Classical ML Models: end-to-end lifecycle for ML projects.
• Characterize, evaluate, and fine‑tune AI agents to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Partner with Marketing, Product, Finance, and GTM teams to translate business problems into data science solutions.
• Own the full data science lifecycle from problem framing to deployment and monitoring.
• Visualize findings to make complex data intuitive for business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Product to translate goals into data requirements.
