Ranking AI is the central core machine learning org within Meta’s Monetization group, powering Meta’s revenue and business growth by advancing and deploying state-of-the-art Recommendation Systems AI for our Ads stack. We are redesigning the Ads model space with new architectures and model-hardware co-design, and leveraging anonymized data for production-ready results.

As a Data Scientist at Meta, you will collaborate across Product, Engineering, Research, Data Engineering, Marketing, Sales,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CS Engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years analytics experience (4+ years with PhD).
• Experience with SQL, Python, and/or R.

Responsibilities

• Work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of challenging problems using different analytical and statistical approaches.
• Apply technical expertise with quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and data presentation to develop product strategies used by billions of people and millions of businesses.
• Identify and measure success of product efforts through goal setting, forecasting, and monitoring key metrics to understand trends.
• Define, understand, and test opportunities to improve the product, and drive roadmaps through insights and recommendations.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to inform, influence, and execute product strategy and investment decisions.
